Debra and Tim Roberts aren’t just founders — they’re trade veterans who have built, scaled, and sold businesses from the ground up. In both ventures, Debra ran the operational and administrative side that kept everything moving.
Debra, a former Fortune 1000 Comptroller turned restaurateur and chef, brings a rare ability to turn chaos into clarity.
Her background in finance and operations now translates directly into clean books, organized systems, and businesses that run smoothly behind the scenes.
Tim focuses on structure, systems, and growth — applying practical LEAN principles and operational discipline to help trade businesses
move forward without adding unnecessary complexity.
Together, they founded Our Bookkeeper in 2022 to give trade owners the kind of support they wished they had themselves —

From Army Scout in Alaska to helping retrench more than 140 companies, co-founding multimillion-dollar exits,
and training over 250 salespeople, Tim brings practical strategy and execution to trade owners.
His background includes deep study of LEAN and the Theory of Constraints, focused on turning operational chaos
into clear direction and steady momentum.
